Wynyard Bridge Control – updated name

Bridge lift requests for the Wynyard Crossing Bridge should now be directed to Wynyard Bridge Control on VHF channel 73.

This updated name better reflects the operational role of the bridge team. Vessel operators are reminded that they remain responsible for safe navigation in the surrounding waters.

Wynyard Bridge Control continues to operate under the call sign ZMU 9812. Updated signage reflecting this change will be installed in the coming months.
