SailGP set to return in 2026

Following a record-breaking debut on the Waitematā, SailGP is confirmed to return to Auckland over Valentine’s weekend – 14–15 February 2026. The ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix | Auckland will once again see the Black Foils go head-to-head with international rivals, racing F50 catamarans at jaw-dropping speeds in the heart of the city. 

The energy along the waterfront earlier this year was unforgettable, with locals and visitors turning out in droves to soak up the sun, speed, and spectacle. From inner harbour views to edge-of-your-seat racing, SailGP is the kind of summer experience that lights up Tāmaki Makaurau like nothing else.
