Construction and maintenance update
General maintenance
Routine safety checks, water blasting, and general upkeep continue across our marinas to maintain a clean and safe environment for all users. If you notice anything that needs attention, please don’t hesitate to contact the marina office.
Over the coming months, we’ll be carrying out some localised refurbishments on the floating structures at Auckland Central Marina. These works will affect only one or two vessels at a time, and those berth holders will be contacted directly. The refurbishments will include replacing timber walers, steel through-rods, and structural framing to help extend the lifespan of our marina infrastructure.
Wynyard Crossing Bridge –maintenance works
As part of a proactive maintenance programme, the Wynyard Crossing Bridge will undergo regular servicing to ensure it remains a reliable and resilient connection for years to come.
The next scheduled maintenance is planned for 10.30pm on Tuesday 25 November to 5.30am on Wednesday 26 November.
What you need to know:
⛵ Marina access: Largely unaffected – vessels can continue to navigate as usual, with only occasional disruption to maritime traffic. The bridge can be lifted at any time during the works with at least 15 minutes’ advance notice to Wynyard Bridge Control via VHF Channel 73.
🚶 Pedestrian access: The bridge will be raised during this time and therefore unavailable to pedestrians. A detour will be in place.
If you have any questions or require assistance, please contact the Auckland Central Marina office. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as this essential maintenance continues.
