Auckland Marathon – Westhaven Drive closure
The annual Barfoot & Thompson Runaway Auckland Marathon presented by ASICS takes place on Sunday 1 November.
Westhaven Drive will be closed from 4am to 11am on race day. Access to Westhaven/Z pier will be maintained for essential vehicles only via Beaumont Street until 6.15am. No vehicle access to or from Westhaven will be available after this time.
If vehicle access isn’t essential, please avoid the area between 4am and 11am. We’ll reopen the road as early as possible, and no later than 11am.
To accommodate the event, the following roads will be closed from 2am until 2pm on race day:
- Beaumont Street
- Jellicoe Street
- Halsey Street
- Viaduct Harbour Avenue
- Customs Street West
